Fine Roman Portrait Coins

The goal of this collection is to showcase an excellent example of the coinage from every legitimate Roman emperor from Augustus through Romulus Augustus for whom high-quality examples exist. The Roma Aeterna Collection will focus on denarii from the reigns of Augustus through Gordian III, then antoniniani from Philip I through Carinus. The tetrarchy period will be represented through argenti and nummi, while solidi will be the denomination of choice for Constantine I through Romulus Augustus. In general the Roma Aeterna Collection avoids bronze coins because of the surface and technical issues typically exhibited by that material.
